Home | ![]() SHOCK ANNOUNCEMENT FROM TAYLOR 15 year-old player/chairman Matthew Taylor has exclusively revealed his intentions to hang up his boots for the rest of the season and allow the other striker to play Championship football. Speaking to the webmaster, Alan Collins, he opened his heart about the club, its future and his future: Why now when Mark Hanson is injured and you're on your best form? I think it is unfair to play the same players for long periods of time, and having played for 31 matches so far this season, I think people like Kyle and Micky deserve the chance to play against the giants of this league. Do you think that they will be disappointed about starting against Nottingham Forest? Not at all. For all their problems, they are still a great side! QPR and Crewe have bounced back and I am positive they will too! League One is not a bad league to play in and there are some high quality teams in there. Then you have Hartlepool! Possible opponents next season? We'll see! You have been with this club since you were 15 last August. You celebrated your birthday in January, yet you are still 15, how does that work? Me and Thom (Thomas Anderson) both share what many people would consider a curse, but we - hey shut up! My private life has fuck-all to do with the public! Ok. One last question, are you looking forward to the Truck Pull? Of course, and I suppose you are as well! It is going to be great fun, having taken part in one just last weekend, and we are set to raise plenty of cash to help out the less fortunate people! Good luck to you all and thank you very much. Good luck to you too, I'd hate to do that... Do you have a burning question for a member of the team? Click on their name in the squad section and e-mail it to them using their name as the subject. You will receive a personal response as soon as possible! Or if you wish your question to be asked in the next player interview, e-mail me at webmaster@thehawks.cjb.net! |
